Office Ergonomics Training

 

The goal of this program is to prepare individuals in the proper posture and typing position to avoid the chronic conditions associated with improper office ergonomic. The course includes a variety of ergonomic tips as well as exercises and stretches to improve circulation, relieve tension and improve posture. Individuals are instructed to check their posture and typing position to the course model and receive detailed information on the impact of poor habits on the muscular skeletal structure.

  Certification This course meets the mandatory requirements for Certification as set out in the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
  Objective The objective of this course is to develop an understanding of the proper habits and ergonomics to reduce or avoid the chronic conditions that can result from poor posture and typing position.

  Level Certificate Standard, 80% pass
