Heat Stress Training

 

The goal of this program is to prepare individuals to protect themselves from possible Heat stress while working in high temperatures. The student will gain and understanding of the human response to high heat exposure and the effects on the workers body and metabolism and the steps necessary to protect the individual in a high heat work environment.

  Certification This course meets the mandatory requirements for Certification as set out in the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
  Objective The objective of this course is to develop an understanding of Heat Stress and the proper steps to take to protect ones self in a high temperature working environment.
