Occupational Health and Safety Applications

Workplace safety is a large and growing concern for both government and business. Workplace injuries can cause permanent disability or death. For employers, this can represent law suits, disability claims, re-training costs, and costly downtime in addition to the obvious tragedy of an injured employee. Prevention of injury is the primary focus of the Occupational Health & Safety Act and the numerous safe work associations in the private sector.
