Power Lift Truck (Fork-Lift)
 

The goal of this program is to prepare individuals to be proficient in fundamentals of Forklift Truck Safety. Theory subject, which will provide a conceptual understanding of Forklift Truck operation and functions, characteristics peculiar to the lifting and manoeuvring with load, acceleration deceleration and turning wile maintaining a safe centre of gravity. A comprehensive understanding of the theories involved in the job and their potential outcomes with regard to safety. This program is designed to achieve CSA Certification when combined with practical hands on evaluation.

  Certification This course meets the mandatory requirements for Certification as set out in the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
  Objective The objective of this course is to develop an in-depth knowledge of Forklift truck handling characteristics, proper procedure and safety awareness to prepare the individuals for their practical training and evaluation.
