Digital Media Design

Multimedia can be defined as the applications and technologies that manipulate text, data, images, voice and video. In today’s workplace, everyone from Web Developers to Marketing Professionals operate in multiple mediums. The Digital Media Design program at Durham Business & Computer College covers both paper and web-based publishing curricula. Students learn the professional techniques needed to create visually rich design intensified with digital images. They become skilled in the creation and implementation of interactive multimedia graphics using industry-standard applications under PC and MAC platforms. Graduates are prepared to meet the growing demand for “visual artists” who are technically proficient in multimedia environments. Employment opportunities exist in digital communications and marketing fields such as printing press, Internet publishing, corporate presentation, animation, and interactive design.
