For most companies, employee benefits are a complex and challenging human resource demand. Competent administration of benefits and pension plans is vital to a company’s bottom line and the maintenance of a happy, productive workforce.
Whether it is a small firm or a Fortune 500 company with thousands of employees, benefits plans represent a significant investment of time, money and manpower. Those hired to administer employee benefits plans are placed in a position of trust and responsibility.
The goal of this program is to prepare individuals for a successful career in employee benefits administration. Students develop an expert knowledge of Group Benefits and Pension plans. Theoretical applications supplemented by real-world scenarios provide conceptual and practical understanding of employee benefits and pension administration. Graduates find employment in Human Resource and Payroll environments. |
